Hearing tests are FREE and if you prefer can be done in the comfort of your own home. We offer regular clinics in all of our stores but if you prefer not to travel to one of our stores we also offer home visits throughout the Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. INITIAL CONSULTATION
We discuss all areas which present you with difficulties in day to day life and we look at any related medical and health factors. We look at your general lifestyle and your specific needs.
HEARING ASSESSMENT
Full examination of the outer ears, ear canals and eardrums.
Audiometric assessment to establish your hearing threshold and at what level you can hear across a frequency range.
Results and findings explained simply.
We recommend hearing instruments if needed based on a number of considerations including - the type of hearing loss exhibited, lifestyle i.e if the instruments need to cope with a number of difficult listening situations, cosmetic appearence where it is deemed important to a patient, user friendly i.e the need for automatic instruments, rechargeable, remote controlled, and easy to handle. Also ask us about the new RIC and Open Ear Fitting technology.
FITTING
Your hearing aids are programmed by computers to individual hearing prescription.
Your Registered Hearing Aid Audiologist will perform a full teach and demonstrate the use and care of the instruments.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT
Within 2-3 weeks we will see you again to discuss progress, give support and advice, and if necessary make fine tuning adjustments to your instruments.
